Athletes need year-round support. Kids are social beings. Positive peer interactions. Begin at middle school grades, with introductions. Then full-on with high school sports, fitness and wellness participation. A central theme: Playing well with others. The All-City Varsity Club can build teamwork, sportsmanship and a cadre of youngsters that can then play leadership roles with the All-City Sport Camps. http://aforathlete.wikia.com/wiki/All-City_Sports_Camp Many of the enrichment efforts can be made into digital badges.
